2008 Open House
G L Sayre would like to thank all the Customers,
Employees and Vendors and especially the Antique truck
club of America for making our 2008 Open house a great
success. Present were our major body suppliers as well
as representatives from Peterbilt, International and UD
trucks. There were about 50 antique trucks and about 13
custom cars in addition to 15 customer trucks on
display. The weather was great and It was a fun and
informative day. Thanks again to all that made this day
possible.

G L Sayre acquires 1936 International C Model to help
celebrate 75th Anniversary in 2009.
The truck was originally purchased to haul produce in
New Jersey. Although it was stored inside for the last 18 years we were able to get her running after a few hours of tinkering. It has a flathead 6 cylinder 4 speed non synchronized transmission and
hydraulic brakes. The stake body also has much of its original hardware. We will update the photos as the restoration comes along.

Parts Manager Don Conlan Retires after 26 years service.
We all a G L Sayre would like to wish Don a great, and well deserved, retirement. Don came to work for G L Sayre Inc in 1982 as a member of our office staff. In 1987 he was promoted to Parts
Manager. Over the years our volumes have grown significantly and Don's department was always on the leading edge of that growth. We had a retirement luncheon for Don at the shop where we could thank Don and Don's family for his contribution to the success of G L Sayre Inc. Best of luck Don.
